Don’t Bore Us, Get to the Chorus (Live Acoustic)- Emery
I just want to be with you tonight… The moon is set and we’re here by candlelight. I paid my dues so don’t be rude stop putting up a fight… I just want to get with you tonight.

I’ve listened to this song constantly today. Not sure why, but it’s just more beautiful than the rest today.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you:
Wood and Wire- Thrice
For all my sufferings lie in momentary pain, while the weight of endless glory still remains. So throw the switch on; I know you ain’t got a choice… The dawn is coming, all is well I will rejoice.

When, when will I be old enough to do as I please?
These late nights are getting old.
There are better ways to your knees.
Mommy always had you buttoned up.
We were daddy’s little peach.
When will I be old enough?
When will I be old enough, to do as I please?
To do as I please?
To do as I please?
So wake up. Wake up its the morning.
Another eight hours and the day’s left you wanting reprieve.
Or at least religion.
But just relax, ‘cause everyone’s sinning.
Last night. The drinks. The words.
The kiss. The car. The apartment.
The cab fare. Fake digits.
Your hair. Your make up.
Your high heels, impeccable.
And all of it just to sit
with some wannabe’s and counterfeits.
How respectable. How respectable.
-Daddy’s Little Peach, Emery
So relevant.
Sometimes I feel like I know EXACTLY what he was feeling when this song was written. I’m so grateful this band exists.
The song itself is well written and has that catchyness and development, accompanied with soaring vocals and lyrics that I like a lot in music. It’s just a good song. Give it a listen.
