Went to this concert last night. FANTASTIC. It was my 3rd time seeing Mini Tigers, but the atmosphere of the venue and the music of this time was unbeatable. Campfire, christmas lights, darkness, a good beat… ah it was heaven. As always, my favourite song was The Wolf or Japanese Woman, but tonight I thought I would give you….Coyote Enchantment.

I never really gave the song much attention on the album (I mean really… it just clashed too much with my little metal phase I’ve been going through.) but when they played it live…. we were all drowning in the most awesome music- such a cool vibe. There’s no other words for it :P Instant concert high.

Met up with Charlie after- he “remembered” me, so that was cool :D Gosh I love nights like that though. 

One of my favourite Christmas songs, and one of the best versions of it.

Okay. Why?

(raw, unsensored feelings:) why the hell do i spend all of my time in my normal day to day life whining about shit like how i don’t have a boyfriend and never have been kissed or how i’m terrified my money isn’t going to be enough for next semester- even if i’m a workaholic. Now… oh now. now I see that there is so much more that could be wrong. so much depraved messed up crap that can happen that none of that matters. I mean it. NONE OF IT.

It’s an insult to my life, my very existence, that I refuse to be happy because of trivial things when my life SO EFFING GOOD. 

I’ve dealt with so much worse, so why am I more miserable when things are okay then when i’m actually going through something real. Something that is an actual problem.

I don’t typically post emotional crap on this blog. But I really want to get it out to the world and my future self not to care about these things. It feels hard when you’re going through it… but good heck. Enjoy what you DO have, and stop thinking about what you don’t. Because then you won’t feel even worse for all the complaining you did when you are actually going through something.

I admit. Even with what I’m going through now: I remain to have a home to live in, fantastic friends, and a very wise and supportive sister, so I shouldn’t let myself be miserable as I am feeling. Thus, I will have to magnify the optimism I feel buried deep down in there.

But just to the world- love to live. Love to live whatever life you have now- and love the things that you have, and take the time to enjoy them and appreciate them. Because it is astonishing just how much shit can change in a few hours. 

For now….

Nobody plans to be half a world away at times like these, so I sat alone and waited out the night.

Somehow found a way to live vicariously through this song today. Or rather it just embellishes my recent daydreaming series.

But desperate times, they seem over now. But still I weaken somehow, and it tears me apart. It tears me apart. But I hope to learn as time goes by that I should trust what’s deep inside… burning bright oh burning bright, my sensible heart.
